Stephen Eze is an imposing central defender with Glo Premier League side, Lobi Stars, who started his career with club’s developmental team, Lobi Stars Feeders.

Plucked from the streets of Makurdi where he played grassroots football, Eze has since evolved into one of the best young defenders in only his first season in Nigeria’s top flight.

With two goals to his career, Eze has positioned himself as one of the few goalscoring defenders in the league.

Eze debuted in the Caf Confederations Cup against Mozambique’s Liga Muçulmana and scored his first goal for Lobi Stars.

On match day six, he scored his first Glo Premier League against the famous Enugu Rangers.

Since making his debut in the league, the defender has remained one of the most consistent players in Lobi Stars.

The defender trained with Nigeria’s Under20 team in 2013 but missed the Fifa Under20 World Cup, in Turkey.
